Encourage a Church or Ministry Leader
This week it’s time to go deeper in the encouragement of others.
“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.” Hebrews 13:7
It is important to bless and encourage those who have had an impact in your walk with the Lord. Take some time this week to be intentional with someone who leads in a Ministry or Church. This can look like anything you would like, but be intentional. This should build them up and let them know they are appreciated and give them encouragement to keep pressing on.
Personal phone call, special gift, note or letter of encouragement, or anything else you can think of. Ask God who and what that should look like. Share this with the group so that we continue to spur one another on.
THIS WEEKS SCRIPTURE READING
Psalm chapter 22 - 23
Proverbs 5
1 Samuel chapters 1-31
This book of the Bible shows the history of Samuel who was the last Judge and the transition to Saul the first King of Israel.
Joel chapters 1-3
This is a warning book about complacency and taking God for granted. Joel is warning to return to the Lord as their lifestyle would eventually end with the judgment of God.

1 Samuel 15:23
Rebellion=Witchcraft
Stubbornness=Idolatry So important not to claim the identity of stubbornness or to speak that over our children. A strong will is what we should all have so that we follow God and reject evil. Stubbornness is the polar opposite.
