Be a Blessing
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
Galatians 5:14
This week we want to go out and be a blessing. Leave an impact in your community. Ask God to highlight for you what this might look like for your specific neighborhood and community.
Be very intentional this week asking God to show you how to reach out and leave a Jesus residue.
Once completed, Post the stories and any pictures in the comments, so we can see what God is doing in Southern MB.
Examples could include;
Rake leaves
Pick up garbage
Feed the homeless
Baby sit for someone
Bring a coworker some baking or a coffee/tea
Do some of the work of a coworker that is not your job, to lighten their load
ANYTHING ELSE GOD SHOWS YOU TO DO
Be creative! Look for as many opportunities as you can to love and bless others this week.
THIS WEEKS SCRIPTURE ASSIGNMENT
Psalm chapters 16-21
Proverbs chapter 4
Habakkuk chapters 1-3
Written to show that God, in his apparent silence, is not absent. This is a great book to see how God responds to why it seems like He is doing nothing about evil and depravity. Chapter 3 vs 2 is a good prayer for our day as well.
Revelations chapter 1-22
Written by the apostle John. This is a vision given to him revealing secrets about heaven as well as end times. Pay special attention to the 7 churches and their descriptions. This section helps us understand where we are at as a body and what might be holding us back. It also helps us to discern the state of the "church" today.
Remember that for some of this, it is metaphoric and takes deeper study to understand how specifically to apply it to end times. This is a good book to ask a lot of questions in the forum, or share anything God reveals.
Don't stop giving God your day and entering into prayer of thanksgiving. Let nothing steal your joy, "for the Joy of the Lord is my strength!" Nehemiah 8:10

I had a really good visit with my great Aunty this week. Stopped by to see her and give her some baking, and got to pray for her and encourage her that she is valued and a blessing, which really wowed her.
