Rock Lake Chritmas Dinner!!

The Christmas season is often marked by joy and fellowship with family, but for some, it can mark sadness and loneliness. Rock Lake Ministries is passionate about feeding people in their surrounding communities. Members of their team drive into Winnipeg at least once a week to collect food from grocery stores and other food banks, to bring into food banks in areas like Morden, Brandon, and our local Pilot Mound/Crystal City area. The food that is brought back feeds over 50 families every month across southern Manitoba.

Rock Lake Ministries has a heart for showing hospitality and would like to invite anyone who doesn’t have a place to go for Christmas, to join them for a Christmas meal on December 25, at 4pm. The meal will be free of charge. A ride will be arranged if you are unable to make it out any other way. Please call the office at 204-825-2842 to RSVP. Pastor Tyler Amell, Rock Lake’s Ministry Pastor/Director, explains the heart behind the invitation. “We at Rock Lake Ministries feel that it is every person’s responsibility to provide love, value, and connection. As a part of this, we are extending an invitation to our Ministry for those who need it Christmas Day.
